Re: So What Did "Mass Effect: Andromeda' Learn From The 'Mass Effect 3' Ending Debac
Well, alot of the side quests i couldn't do because they had no waypoints, not even a rough area to look, so they were left unfinished and that is not a good thing, but storywise, i am assuming any unanswered questions, like the Benefactor....who he/she is and where is he/she and stuff like that will be answered in the next game, but my fear is that the last game of the story arc of the Ryder twins will end the same way as ME3 did, because for me, the citadel DLC didn't change it for me, i like my endings to be good.
That is why like alot of the Visual Novels going around lately, most of them have very good endings, happy endings.
I mean, the real world has enough darkness in it, video games like this need that option of having a very light, happy ending.
You know, where you settle down with your love interest (if you opt'd for one) and your family were all happy and good and so on, i think shepard should have gotten one of those endings, even if it was an epilogue that you had to read in the codex, you know what i mean? Its just something i would have liked and that alone would have made me play the ME trilogy more times after that, but seeing the ending we got, sucked any desire to play any more playthroughs of that trilogy.
The ending just took away any reason to play ME1, ME2 and ME3 ever again, because the ending outright sucked, the Citadel DLC and the Extended Cut changed nothing for the ending, its more like a kick in the teeth for Commander Shepard, going tthrough all that hell, all those choices only for the only choice to really matter.....is the last one....totally dumb.
