Re: Still sound bug in Mass Effect Andromeda

A suggestion ... doesn't fix the problem, but makes it a lot less likely.

Go to Win 10 Control Panel, select "Sound"

Select "Playback" tab (it should be the default).

Select (single click to highlight) "Playback Device" that you use for the game.

Select "Properties" (lower right corner)

In Properties, select "Advanced" tab.

In the "Default Format" box, if you have "24 bit, 48000 Hz (Studio Quality)" selected, change it to "24 bit, 44100 Hz (Studio Quality)" ...

Generally, the sound bug stays away. On occasion, it will come back. If you have it hit twice in the same session (after rebooting the game, of course), go back to the setup and make sure that 44100 Hz is still selected. I've had Win 10 updates revert it back to 48000 Hz a few times. It doesn't happen a lot, probably after some kind of major update (which there should not be a lot more of, now that Win 11 is out). No idea if this happens with Win 11, won't know until I get my new computer.

Hope this helps.
