Re: Storage on the Tempest

Storage locker would be nice indeed. You can upgrade your inventory space using cryopods at the AVP terminal, though.

  • It's only 15 additional slots. I thought it would be more like 50 so it would double my storage.

Bioware, let us have unlimited items already. Mass effect 1 had a default storage limit of 150, and could be easily changed in the config.

Guys, this is obvious: it will be added in one of the patches, in a similar way that storage chest was added to Dragon Age: Inquisition.

It was not added in the first place, so You could be happy that there is so much content added in patches rather than in paid DLCs.   ;-)

  •   yes there are two things that I am appalled at, and a couple of others I very much dislike.

    1.  Hate number one:: No storage, chest at the home base. They knew this was a problem in DAI, and fixed it there, why would they repeat the same mistake again.

This limited storage was the only real reason I liked ME2 better than ME1, why do they keep repeating the same mistake.

I am betting it is because of console's, so many things get ported into the PC versions, that have no reason for being there because of console limitation on buttons, and memory, but I would thing this one does not qualify, however I do often wonder, when I see limited skill usage in battle, and save options removed.

     2. Hate number Two:: Why am I unable to save multiple characters, as has been done in all previous games. It makes no sense.  As best as I can tell if I make a new character, it totally wipes out my other character, and all of her saves.

     3. I call BS to all the animation bug's, as I am sure these will get fixed over time, and they don't really bother me that much, as far as game play. This one I think people are over kill on.

      4. I do dislike, and do not understand why in a fantasy game, My characters ( which actually if you take your time you can get a reasonably pretty female character ) , and the NPC I have as helpers, and possible romance options have to be so over the top {{{ UGLY }}}.

It really makes the time one has to take to romance them seem almost sickening. I like totally avoided all romance options in DAI they were just so {{ Nasty to look at }}, and it looks like I ,may be doing that again ☹️

  • I have to agree. I find the male human romance characters unappealing. I liked Kaiden in the ME 1-3 series, why no Kaiden-like character?

  • @kittsune Having in mind how deep they are into feminism no surprise they don't have suitable human male for romance...

Check this youtube video if they allow the link -> HERE

You aren't wrong! She is a very plain Jane type and with the goofy grin that is supposed to make her nerdy! It's like playing DA Inquisition, I can be an Elf, so why would I want to be Human when I am already human IRL. I want that fantasy of being someone else.

Feminism hasn't been what it should be for many years sadly.  Equality became superiority by default. ☹️

  • Storage locker on the tempest would be best but i would already be pleased with a storage locker in fathers room on Nexus.

  • @Simpson3k Even having it on any planet outpost would be better than not having at all 😃 Whole system of planets and no room for a little chest...

Although I wouldn't call it hate but disagreement with what they have done:

    1. Agreed. I also like to grab everything that's lying aroung (collector syndrome maybe?) and I would love to make my inventory a little bit less cluttered. So a storage would be very nice.

2.It is possible to have more than one char. Right now I run a vanguard and an infiltrator plus my very first "try out" char. Maybe you have too much saves? There is a cap as far as I know - 250 saves? Or is it 500? So you should take a look into your save folder. You could make a backup of your char(s) and keep just the most recently saves to not run into this cap.

    3. Animations are better now and the "new" eyes work almost like a mirakle. My Sara looks so much better now. Although I wouldn't mind more improvement because sometimes she does look a little goofy...

4.Well, I have to admitt, it helpes to have a bit more good looking chars when it comes to romance but most of all I want a good romance. An interesting romance. And that's the problem for me right now. The straight female romances aren't that good. But let's be honest, they never were in any BW game. It seems we are "stepchildrens" to them.

And I have to agree again, you can build a nice and believable good looking fem char if you take your time (had to start more than ten times before I got my "feeling" for the CC although I would also like to have more options for customization).

Ok, I don't quite get it. "Feminism" because they screwed up the CC and animations?

First, BW will try to correct that. Second, if you take your time you can build a nice and believable looking fem char - as long as you don't mind not getting the typical gamer barbie dolls eveyone seems so fond of. I'm actually very happy that I havent to deal with another "enhanced" Miranda clone or that Ashley caricature from ME3. Third, if there would be something like "feminism" we females would get an army of chippendales and not just two underwhelming romances.

    😉

I think there's a lack of potential male characters to have romance with, for the gaming ladies, that had enough depth or get to be around often. Aside from the Tempest crew, who else is there? Outside the Tempest, even for the male character, the romances are ... strangely placed. Perhaps making better NPCs could improve a bit, although that would require some rework.

  • How did the topic shift from storage to romance? *puzzled*

@PandaTar But now that you mentioned romances out of the tempest for ladies, I so far found one single npc outside the tempest crew that can be romanced, and that one is male. So How many female npc´s you found out there to romance?

I? Outside the Tempest, female NPC is that angara lady who is interested in archaeology. Aya. I won't remember her name now. I don't know how much further into a flirt it will go, however. The other one is Reyes, which is a male. Let me think a bit ... that's all I can remember.

Keri on the Nexus (the reporter)
    Avela on Aya (the archeologist)

    and of course Reyes

All three were ment as options for both gender.

    And now back to storage...

    😉

    Yeah, the reporter.

Regarding Storage, cough, cough, I would completely remove it from the game. As much as it seems logical having such limitations, it's also illogical that some things you pick up don't count as you carry them around. If you balance up that feature, I cannot really see any use for it at all. Meddling with it, though, might affect something else. I'm ok with it anyway. Now that they added slots to it, I think I won't even bother selling anything so soon: and also, rendered those 2 Economy cryo pods of implementing slots a bit less useful now. Could consider making a new Economy perk replacing 1 of those 2.

  • Hm how about the ability to sell stuff at an outpost instead?

It could make sense. You could supply a local market. The game has crafting, inventory and merchant systems tangled together. It would require a whole rework to make sense of them or have better use.

    I miss our own armory.
