Re: Strike team achievements

Never used the app, always in game, always online, 3 teams to level 20 and got 6 teams two times now. Can't unlock the achievements Teamwork and Top Talent, got Veteran no problem though ages ago.

Tried going into multiplayer and deploy the strike teams from there as recommended here, no go either.

How hard is it to just make the achievements check if the player currently has a level 20 and/or 6 teams instead of whatever triggers them now, good lord, this is annoying.

I really liked andromeda after the bit bland start and after the patches fixing a lot of the animation horribleness and happily got all achievements for the single player, so please don't degrade my experience by not fixing this.

Edit: just deleted my level 20 team for the third time and bought a new 6th team, still no achievement. this seems just utterly broken.

Edit 2: Oh yeah, forgot to mention that I am on PC / Origin

Edit 3: I have since gotten a new level 20 and another 2 times i got to 6 teams (after deleting one), not unlocking. guess you only get one chance on these achievements at the very first time you get a lvl 20/6th team and if Origin messed that up you're out of luck and can't get it ever, great system there.

Ok, got both Top Talent and Teamwork now by using the prestige/challenges workaround.
Went into MP, leveled a team there to 20, let the pop up screen for the level up stay up for a few seconds then left strike teams and went straight into prestige and challenges. after a couple seconds Top Talent popped.
I later did the same for Teamwork, bought a sixth team and went straight to prestige/challenges.
It's sad that they decided to put out more multiplayer * instead of fixing stuff like this first.

Well, it has been a year now and EA hasn’t fixed this...

I tried some thing “drastic” and deleted/retired all 6 of my level 20 Strike Teams and repurchased 6 brand new level 1 teams. Skipped out into another menu and Teameork popped. Slowly working towards my new 25 wins to see if that will finally get me Veteran.

PS: After retiring all my teams I logged off and went to bed and didn’t buy the new teams until the following day.

Still not working 2021. Do not use the phone app. I'm certain this is what caused my achievement to never pop. I have played ME:A on the Playstation 4 & didn't encounter this problem but I didn't use the app back then. I didn't realize that the app was causing problems when I initially started for the trophy. I have a couple strike teams that I started strictly in game waiting to get them to level 20. I have completed every other trophy, including playing on insanity. I'll keep logging in just to get my last two teams to level 20 & cross my fingers. I'm playing on PC through Origin. ****Trophy finally popped after getting a team to 20 & then using the trick others in this thread suggested.
