Re: Why does the Mass Effect Legendary Edition include Genesis?

I have played the Mass Effect series since it first came out in 2007. I plan on getting the Legendary Edition but I am a little confused. Why does it include the Genesis comic (which basically allows you to select the MAIN choices for the previous game without playing the previous game)? I have played all three games in succession and have never used the Genesis comic because all my choices transferred over automatically (including the really minor choices which you don't get in the Comic).
Some people might want to change decisions they mad in ME1 or 2 without replaying the games. 😉

The next question is: Since it does include the Genesis comic, does that mean that I will be forced to use it, therefore my minor choices that show up in Mass Effect 2&3 become irrelevant? Or will you be able to turn off the Genesis comic? Or will you be forced to use the comic and the choices will not be automatically transferred?
No, of course not.
In a game of the original trilogy, the Genesis comic was only launched if you did not import a character from the previous game, it will be no different in the LE.
