Remember getting that flag to put up?

So I set up the first outpost on Eos and the mayor gave me a flag to put up. Is this an actual thing to do? If so, where do I put up the flag?

The quest system in this game is really overwhelming and not everything is something you can 'track'. That "Naming the Dead" mission is a nightmare without following the guide people have pointed out online.

Too many things to do at once. If I wanted a complicated life I'd be living my own and not playing games 🙂

  • The flag thing was just dialogue and nothing more.  What upsets me about missions is that where as in previous ME games, as well as other games, once you complete a mission, you have a conversation with the one's who began the mission.  Here, the missions just end.  All with little to no fanfare.  Little to no follow up even with most of the bigger missions.  Many mission feel like filler and it leaves the story feeling hollow.

There are so many missions to do, it's hard to keep track of them all. Couple that with the fact that there isn't enough distinction in faces or where a dialog is coming from and you have me trying to remember why this person is mad at me or happy with me.

The flag should be something you can put up in the Pathfinder area on Nexus.

The flags are displayed in the bar on the Nexus.

With the downside that the lighting in the bar is so bad, the upper half of the flags are shrouded in shadow.

I'm curious as to what you do in your real life that you consider it more complicated than travelling to another galaxy and founding a new home world for a dozen intelligent species' haha!

As a response to another comment in here, I can't say I agree that having an extra slog of going back and talking to another NPC just to say "Hi I done the thingie" Just to get your experience is really adding to the game. The feeling of accomplishment should be in doing the task, rather than having  to sit through maybe a couple extra load screens so an NPC can go "GG no re".
