I've perused the other forums and seen a lot of issues similar to mine, and the issue for most people seems to be having the wrong console set up for the dlc liscence, but that's not the case for me.
My brother and I share a 360 with different profiles. We both have downloaded dlc for Mass Effect 2 and up until now we could play it on each other's profiles just fine. I purchased shadowbroker, brother could play on his file, brother bought kasumi and zaeed, I can play them just fine on mine. But he just recently purchased Arrival (on this same console, for the same account as all the other dlc) and downloaded it and can play it just fine. I can log onto his profile and the mission is right there in the journal.
However, when I try to play it on my profile (where all my saves are) I get the error message that the dlc is corrupt and cannot be used and it recommends redownloading it. Four or five times I've gone in, deleted the dlc from the console, logged into my brother's account and redownloading it, twice from the Cerberus network in game, three times from the Xbox store.
Same result, his profile can play the dlc but mine can't?
If it's just an issue of my account not having the rights, that's a bit weird since all the other dlc works across accounts but whatever I'll pay the $6, but if it's a technical issue or issue with the console I don't want to waste my money. Any help is appreciated
Edit: as a last ditch effort I loaded all the saves onto an external drive, then wiped everything mass effect 2 related from the hard drive and reinstalled it all and this seems to have solved the issue. Still not at all sure why one profile could play it and the other couldn't but the issue seems to have gone away
