@Gan_Xodos In the past I had some issues with different games and I know that verifying game files is not always repair the problem. A 100% validate the game would be with uninstall, physically remove of game folder and whatever is left inside and install the game from scratch.
If you intend to do that, make sure you copy your saves in a secure location before starting the uninstall.

Good suggestion. Thanks for the eyes on this. I just finished the game anyway. Thoroughly enjoyable and plenty of feels during my last few hours with it. Even with the sibling texture corruption.
Really hoping on some sequels. This game got too much hate at the time. Even kept me from playing it till it was $20 on Origin. (Was busy with other games too but I would have played it earlier.)
Guess I'll just hold on to them saves in the hopes for a direct sequel. Fingers crossed!
