Besides me, does anyone else think before this story arc is over you are going to have to fight the manipulative AI with it's own agenda that lives in your head?

I also have this feeling.
However, I do think that Alec ... might also be somber. He might have been saved to return later, if you know what I mean.
Anyway on a more serious note... Alec Ryder claims that SAM wont turn on them as it is a symbiotic relationship, unlike the Quarians and Geth etc etc etc... WRONG! He never met a prothean and never heard the story of the Zha and Zha'til. SAM reminds me of Javik's story on the Zha and Zhatil. In fact to be honest think MEA is recycling some of their ideas over and over again(Kett similarities with Collectors). Read about Zha'til for more info. It's been done before...

SpoilerThat we never go back for his corpse yet run around flagging months old colonist bodies for retrieval is suspicious at best. I'm fifty-fifty he got snatched up by the Kett though and you'll face some bizarre exalted version somewhere down the road.Maybe.
But the lines of what I'm thinking are more in the realms of psyque, something like Alec returning inside one of his sons, and using SAM to do it. But, it would mean that Alec is a maniac. ^_^
