Sell or dismantle weapons/armors

During missions I have collected a lot of armors and weapons that I will not use, is it better to sell those items or to dismantle them to get materials?

I sell anything that can't be dismantled for materials to craft N7 armor.

Decide what you want to craft. Write down the materials you need.

Take the extra junk and select "dismantle". It will show you what materials it will give you.

If you need the materials,finish the dismantle. If you don't need any of it,cancel the dismantle and sell it.

Use the credits to buy materials.

I want to go biotic and N7 Armor, what weapons do you suggest for a similar built?

  I just use the Avenger. Also the Asari sword.

  I played biotic with a valkyrie. I combined pull / throw / charge and thought the valkyrie was a good weapon up close and from a reasonable distance. Asari sword is great for melee takedowns.
