CDPR is currently selling the witcher 3 dev kit allowing players to create content for the game. I thought that would be very interesting for the mass effect and dragon age series. I know I'd pay money for it!
Community ManagerHey, @Masseffectgods As much as some of would love to see more things like this from players, sadly it will be a long time before something like this would ever be an officially supported project.
BioWare has the Dragon Age Toolset for Dragon Age: Origins, but they haven't had a toolset since.
Modding tools are rare nowadays. As you mentioned, CPDR has REDkit (which is free). Larian Studios has one in beta for Baldur's Gate 3, thought from what I've read, it's fairly limited in functionality.
I've enjoyed playing BioWare games with mods, but I doubt we'll get official tools for that soon.
