Shadow Broker DLC Installer Broken - ME2

Just purchased the Shadow Broker and there seems to be a problem with the installer.  When downloading, it interrupts at 41% then resume until it finishes.  When I try to install it, an error message pops up:

---------------------------
NSIS Error
---------------------------
Installer integrity check has failed. Common causes include
incomplete download and damaged media. Contact the
installer's author to obtain a new copy.

More information at:
http://nsis.sf.net/NSIS_Error

I have repeatedly downloaded many times but is the same result. Please advise.  I have other DLC's that were downloaded and installed successfully.  Thank for your time.

This is also the installer message:

Thanks. Do you have the option to download through Origin. Open the game details page for ME2 in Origin and scroll down, then see fi you have the option.

If you don't/it prompts you to pay again, please try contacting support. they should be able to sync up your DLC, which should hopefully help to move past this issue.

Well, I got the game and DLC's working nicely, but not without a little effort. This is mainly for the Steam users. Here is what I had to do:P

I opened my Origin, but ME2 was not on the game list, and no DLC's------>went  to my Steam where I purchased ME2 Deluxe which they provided the game

key------->redeemed the key in Origin and boom, game and DLC's auto download immediately.......but.....O_o

It DL'd everything to the Steam folders for some reason and corrupted the files, game not working------>clean uninstall and deleted everything, except the game saves in the Doc folders, don't touch those if you're in a middle of a game----->did a clean install at Origin and everything working  yahoooo🙂

    So, now I resumed playing game where I left off from Steam to Origin.......Shadow Broker, here I come ;-}

Thanks for your quick reply David.

The turning off the UAC method didn't work, and running it as an administrator didn't work as well.  I do believe the installer is broken.  When starting the download at the BioWare site, the size indicates 1.51gb, however, when downloaded on my machine it is 1.24gb. Is there another download site?   Thanks for your time.

PS. I just found this 2010 article:

PC players eager to penetrate the "Lair of the Shadow Broker" in today's Mass Effect 2 DLC release have hit a snag. The new content is apparently incompatible with Windows 7 64-bit systems (update: all systems), as reported by Big Download.

"I haven't said anything as we are working on the issue," noted BioWare community coordinator Chris Priestly in response to countless complaints (no really, countless complaints) on the official forums. "I understand you are all irritated by this, but we want you all to play, so we are working hard to determine and fix whatever is causing this."

Update: Priestly has created a new thread tracking the issue. Apparently, the original download was corrupt and prevented "all" PC users from playing the new content. That file has since been removed from BioWare's download section (though it's harmless if you did download it). "We are working on a fix for the issue and will get a working file up for PC users ASAP," Priestly assures, without knowledge of a more specific ETA.

Update 2: Priestly delivers the good news: "Lair of the Shadowbroker should now be fixed for the PC and should be able to be downloaded now for both the PC and Xbox 360."

    Thanks, I'II try that.

FYI - I purchased ME2 Deluxe from Steam and most of the DLC's via BioWare.  Also,  I have purchased games from EA/Origins as well.
