Shepard's sex
So why in character creation do they ask if Shepard is Male or female if it never comes up again?

It makes a a difference in the end of Ryder Family Secrets, but it is basically a pronoun difference, in other words, pointless.

They don't care about pronouns.
My second play through was as Fem Ryder.
At one point,my brother,Scott,called me a He. lol
