Since updating to the Mass Effect Legendary patch released on May 17th my sniper rifle is behaving like an assault rifle in burst fire mode. Anyone else having this issue?
Yay! The issue has sorta resolved itself, found and equipped a new sniper rifle (picked up after update) and it behaves normally. All the ones in my inventory from prior to the update are still glitched, they all behave the same way regardless of stats, acting like assault rifles but now I can move on.
Some sniper rifles will have a faster rate of fire. They were tweaked. Just like the assault rifles. To make them feel more unique.
I have not changed sniper rifles, prior to the update it fired one way and now it fires totally different. If it is a tweak why is it not a part of the update notes? I could tell a faster rate of fire between the sniper rifles before the update but like I said it now fires just like the assault rifle I have equipped.
I'm not sure then. Already on Mass Effect 2. Otherwise I'd test that theory.
That helps some, if you are not having the issue in ME2 then maybe it is isolated to ME1....
So far all the weapons I have used have been the same as before. No complaints so far.
What system, PC, Xbox or PlayStation?
