"ssleay32.dll missing"; ME2 won't launch

Mass Effect 2 won't launch, despite working yesterday. The ssleay32.dll file exists, but it is in the Core folder of the Binaries. The error (ssleay32.dll missing) shows up when I Troubleshoot compat...

I got the same problem since four days, I already re-installed the game and Origin but it did no good. Trying to run ME2 with admin-rights didn't work too...

So if someone got a solution, please reply!

Try downloading and installing the most recent version of Origin and retry.

  Try deleting any ssleay32.dll from the following location: C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Mass Effect 2\Binaries\Core
  
  There are a few different versions of that file and not having the right one at that location will be a problem.
  
  After deleting the file, right click and Repair Game to replace the file.
