let's hope we can just keep the thread on its topic now without any more bickering. I know i posted a 'popcorn' image but tbh, that was just to point out that sadly the direction of the thread was becoming more about sniping and less about the Remnant and quotes or misquotes aside, it was getting a bit out of hand.
Observers: Clipping through walls and in some cases can be seen actually in the scenery. Their lock lasting longer than it should be possible once you break LOS. I've broken LOS many times on them to bring them back into view. Not really been a problem to get them to move.
Assemblers: Their general behaviour is sit behind cover, and take pot shots at you. Some saying from beyond the targettable distance across the map but truth be told, I don't think i've ever let them live long enough to test that theory.
Breachers: The kamikaze unit created by Assemblers appear to be created with a target already programmed into them.. and shooting one reprograms it to then target you. Seems plausible. It could well be that the Breacher gets programmed with a target that the Assembler has already at least once had LOS on. So it ignores you because you are #2 or #3 on its list. (Who knows)
Nullifiers: Yes they can zap you through walls, but in the main, I really don't have much problem with these. Hurt them while they are moving and target their RED dot for maximum damage while they are moving and they go down very easy. When they are stationary you target the bit above their shield.. the top of their head.. they need more hits, but if you strafe left and right and keep moving and don't present them with a stationary target they struggle to hit you that often. In short.. they are too easy much of the time anyway, so any sneaky shots through tiny gaps in walls i take on the chin and just move. Usually if i get one hit on me, i home in on them and put them out of their misery anyway.
Destroyers: They are weak as pie on bronze.. yet are stronger on silver and gold. I've really not seen too much trouble with them except that RPG's can take them out in one shot on bronze. I would like them to still need two RPG shots no matter what. My earlier comment about making Assemblers also have the ability to fully heal a Destroyer if they are in the immediate vicinity of the destroyer would be nice.. OR... that the Breachers could be also repairers would be nice too. Imagine a destroyer with 4 Assemblers in close formation, you shoot at the destroyer ignoring the Assemblers and the Assemblers can then break firing pattern to then repair the Destroyer to keep it battle ready. That I would think would be a great upgrade for the Destroyer you describe as weak, just that the remnant Assembler lives more up to its name and Assembles.
In all, don't think i have that much problem with the Remnant as an enemy type .. i would love to see them get a new unit to join their ranks as they do have 1 less unit than every other enemy type.. but as they stand, i work around their 'traits' and have no problems with killing them or with general survivability.
