What do I have to do? When it loads up, it doesnt offer me any characters to play, only a new game. I looked in the Bioware folder, and I see saved games. I'm not really a 'computer' person. I usually just expect things to just work, but i'm willing to try to fix it if you can give me instructions.

Did you attempt clicking on 'new game'? The option to import an ME2 character comes directly after this.
