Title. I have the game on Steam, it worked fine until the latest EA app update. Now the game hard crashes my steam deck during random loading screens. I play for a while then the game crashes and I have to restart my steam deck with the power button.

I literally just purchased this game off steam for my steam deck and it just crashes after loading into ME1 and creating your character.... It appears to be some kinda memory leak? Does anyone have an estimated timeline for a patch?
Same... I bought the legendary edition about a week ago and things were fine until the EA update. I'm scared to run this game now because when it hard resets my steam deck it feels like I'm doing damage to it. I can't even get to the actual ME1 screen now. I click ME1 In the launcher then it crashes hard. EA, yall need to do better, seriously!
As I said, installing Cryoutilities did the trick for me!
@EA_Illium I have the exact same problem. ME1 was working great for me. I put in around 50 hrs without any problem. I have no mods running and have tried the fixes suggested in the Steam links you shared. The game started crashing after the most recent EA update. Can you give us an indication if a fix is in the pipeline please? Thanks

I have the same issue. Steam Deck Oled crashes after a minute. Installed the game on a fresh steam deck.
Looks like a memory leak bug.
