[Steam] Error You Can't Save Progress in Mass Effect 1

I installed Mass Effect Legendary Edition and after starting it I started with Mass Effect 1 but after starting it I got an error that did not save the games, I quickly went to test if the same thing...

In EA app > Click on the hamburger menu in the top left corner > Help > App recovery > Clear cache.

Restart your PC > Test.

Hey @Escarcha which platform are you playing on so I can test it out real quick? could be something simple like a corrupted save file, or download of ME1.

I have the Mass Effect Legendary Edition version installed from Steam, and when I start the first of the 3 games that you can choose from, I get the error.
