I used Fraps, though if you save just before taking the shot and use print screen you could probably also get it. I recommend taking the sreenshot just before the actual one is taken as will be of a better quality. (Example)
Future games are going to require Origin, so I decided it was best to learn how to get it to work with ME3 rather than wait; at the bottom of this page is a zip file containing a pdf explaining how to use Texmod with Origin. The trick is to get Origin to open Texmod instead of ME3 and then open ME3 via Texmod; to do this you need to have both .exe files in the same folder and rename them at different points in the process...or you use a customized batch file to do the renaming for you (this is what I do).
Any luck with capturing the group image?
Haven't tried it yet as I'm waiting on new hardware to arrive, as on my current few glitches happened I suspect due to big system load-once I'll attempt fraps I'll certainly post the outcome here
