The Firefighters mission bugged ending? [Spoiler ALERT!]

Seems alright for me, you go back to the nexus, go treasure hunting for the 3 emp/bomb devices, speak with her and either convince her to stand down or get the sniper to fire.  Not sure about the other option but I usually convince her to stand down.  Had to craft a device to help her son recover from his project overlord issues and you will be able to convince her.  Not sure if this option is available if you didnt help her son.  After that you can find her son working with the 3 scientist on the nexus.

Did the convo wheel throw me a glitch or did the writer just get bored with the quest and cut the story short to go for coffee and a donut instead?

the mission is not bugge you just need to help the son to walk again and at the end you say to her that you and sam help her son and she surrenders if you did not help the son the only option is to kill her 

Maybe it goes all the way back to when I first meet her at the base, got caught scanning some of the objects and had to take out the people there, but even so, it's strange to go from only talking till Ryder signaling the sniper to kill her, it's like it skipped a step or two in the convo O.o

Thats your answer if you kill every one on kadara you get the bad ending for this mission the way to go is scan no more than 2 o3 objects so pick well and speak with her son and then go to the tempest and develop a item to help the son walk again and then go to the nexus and talk to her it will give you the option to save her
