The Firefighters mission bugged ending? [Spoiler ALERT!]

Just a quick question, is the ending of "The Firefighter" bugged? in the "Confront Knight" part you only get to have a short conversation with her, she poses no threat and then Ryder just signals the...

Seems alright for me, you go back to the nexus, go treasure hunting for the 3 emp/bomb devices, speak with her and either convince her to stand down or get the sniper to fire.  Not sure about the other option but I usually convince her to stand down.  Had to craft a device to help her son recover from his project overlord issues and you will be able to convince her.  Not sure if this option is available if you didnt help her son.  After that you can find her son working with the 3 scientist on the nexus.
