I have never decided to detonate the base personally so I disagree with her, but I personally felt like she was making total sense. Why do you think she wasn't?

The question is do the Angara need the facility destroyed more or do they need a bunch of their best soldiers, scientists, etc. more. Either way, needs of the many vs future gain/loss.
Also, somewhere prior to the assault on the exaltation facility it is mentioned that there are several facilities and the Angara leave them alone because they have never successfully attacked one, and they have taken a lot of losses trying
