the sample of Anthem in e3 I realize that happened with Mass Effect Andromeda

They left Mass Effect as a secondary saga, always exceed EA, luckily I will not buy their blessed Anthem, they laughed at us all selling us a product that does not live up to such a beloved and respected saga.

* you and blessings

  • Well, I loved ME and am disappointed with MEA, it isnt bad, but just not up to my expectations.  As much as I am disappointed and a little emotional, at the end of the day we need to realise that sometimes companies screws up.  Perhaps they hired the wrong people and created a whole lot of politics.  Eg CDPR is a company that I am starting to respect, just like bioware in the past...  But can you imagine if the same people that caused all these issues now left and are working for another company(eg CDPR) and now causing issues there, whilst Bioware hired a whole bunch of really talented people and will create the next best game in the industry and cause of ME, if I boycott BW games and go with eg cdpr, boy would I have my next wave of disappointments...

    This is my take and a reminder to myself:

    1)  Dont trust a brand.  Be interested in it, know it's track record but dont trust it until it's out and reviewed.

    2)  In line with the above, I need to remind myself not to pre order nor pre judge a game

    3)  Know myself, know what I want, the genre that I typically enjoy and then look for it.

    If anthem is out and does have a significant SP campaign and does have a good review, I will get it, if it's more MP/MMO based and the SP campaign is insignificant I wont bother.

    Yeah, I just worry about what sort of microtransactions model they're going to attach to it, because I'm pretty wary about that after SWTOR.

    When I saw the trailer, I was impressed, but I have my reservations, will seriously need to take a closer look at it before I buy it...

    I'm pretty sure you mean "wary" (as in beware of) rather than wearily being tired of it.

    You are quite correct, I do know the difference luckily but I didn't quite pay attention there. Lemme fix that 😉

  • I seriously doubt I would ever buy another mmo. Destiny was so completely boring and a waste of money. All I can say is that they better do DA4 justice and give more info about the Solas situation. That EA play whatever it was, the games all looked ugh. The one with the split screen, prison break out looked interesting but my brain can't handle the split screen. The first one or two Need for Speed allowed players to R*pe and I will never own or allow that game in my home. Yes, it was a function that could be disabled in one of the games but the simple fact that anyone thinks it is okay to do even in a game is deplorable. The star wars battle whatever looked interesting but anything star wars.
