I've heard about a similar problem before, where some of the cinematics at the Crucible don't play if you have both the extended cut and the Leviathan DLC installed.
As far as I'm aware, there is no fix.
Oh, I see. I do have the Leviathan DLC so I guess this must be it. Well thank you for letting me know! At least I now know it was supposed to be there and wasn't something I did in the story.
