The Cooldowns for the abilities are too damn long, especially when the combo detonations are so... meh...
Why have a weight system when we cant take a pistol and ability spam like in ME3.
I got the 140K challenges on all 5 Bronze weapons and i have found that they out perform alot of Silver and even Gold weapons.
For example the Zalkin is *. Weak damage, delayed firing means I cant spam it, the 3-shot burst is *. Why would i ever use this weapon? Outside of the 140K challenge, this weapon will never be used.
If you are going to have options then every option has to bring something to the table. As it is right now, 3/4th of the weapons are useless.
Shotguns should be doing 4X the damage at point blank, with being almost useless at range. They practically tickle the enemy as is...
Make equipment upgrade able, at lvl 10 it is 2X what lvl 1 is.
Agreed, I've spent 25 hours in multiplayer, have over 25 weapons unlocked. Have a couple characters maxed at level 20 with a the rest sitting between level 1 and 15. And I find when I try another weapon in a category, I just come in last place. There is no benefit to trying a new weaker weapon when the best weapon I have unlocked does all the killing for me and helps me get higher XP faster.
Sure there are combinations of characters with abilites that I can equip to make a weapon perform better, but it still does not compete with my most powerful gun. As a result I get bored using the same gun over and over on different characters. So I switch out to something that looks better. But here I am coming in last, getting less XP, which means I have to play more, longer to unlock new things.
Its annoying, I feel that ME3 had it right and I'm not enjoying MEA multiplayer. Compare my 120 hours I put into ME3 online to my 25 I've put into MEA and I'm not interested in continuing. ☹️
