Logged out of and deleted the app, started the game finished my missions and set out new ones, no top talent achievment.
BUT: when I went into the challenges menu to look at my stats the achievement for 25 strike team missions completed unlocked.
Will try again tonight to see if the top talent will unlock after my missions are completed which I set out on after deleting the app.
Debrief a level 20 team in the multiplayer menu then go in prestige-challenges. I read this on here last night and it works TOP TALENT POPPED 😁
@Cbl1987 Well I just alt+tabbed out of the game's prestige >> challenges view and nope, nope, top talent still locked.
Will try again directly after debriefing one of my lvl 20 teams (they're all out on missions)
- @V4rdyn and @ThaRealCuber. I should note when it worked for me i'd just launched the game and didn't do anything else 1st - not sure if thats relevant.
Lvl 20 teams back & debriefed from their missions, restarted the game, also made sure to be logged out of Apex HQ, went straight into multiplayer > prestige > challenges
Still no luck :S
I'll keep leveling a third team to lvl 20 from inside the game. I hope that'll be enough >.<

Debriefing the team in the MP strike menu area, then going into Prestige -> Challenges worked for me. Top Talent appeared right after the sync icon was displayed at the bottom right in the Challenges menu.
Glad that I finally got it after taking my fourth team to 20.
In case someone wonders why I didn't "accept solution"... Because nothing that woorked for some (uninstall Apex HQ, multiplayer strike teams, prestige) worked on me.
Sorry guys. I cannot suggest there is a solution here, I'm rather suspecting that people who got the achievement would get it eventually without uninstallation and other stuff, but a solution that'll work for everyone is not here.
Tried again yesterday, still no luck.
I guess "luck" is all it takes to get it eventually.

Thank you so much for posting this.I have 4 at level 20. Tried this last night and it didn't "pop" the achievement for me. Playing on Xbox One and using the iOS companion app. I have 1 more team getting close to level 20. Maybe I'll get him leveled to almost 20 and try doing it through the in-game menu for that last little bit of XP.
