Transferring Origin save files to DVD-ROM copy of game.

Hi EA community,

A while ago, I bought a second hand copy of Mass Effect 2 with an intact Origin code.

After forcing a shutdown in-game on my laptop (the only computer I have access to), I found myself unable to start Mass Effect 2 on Origin. Having played about 30 hours on it already, I then proceeded to spend roughly 6 hours over the last fortnight trying to get it fixed.

I'm at the point of giving up and have tried pretty much everything (forums, support IMs, support phone calls) to no avail.

Before I pack it in and give up on Commander Shepherd for good, is it possible to shift my origin save files over to the disc version if i were to install it?
