Two thumb buttons on the mouse

Hi everyone,

I recently bought a Logitech Marathon M705 mouse which has two thumb buttons on the side. However, Mass Effect will recognise both as one even though I want to set them as two different ones.

Even when I try setting one as a keystroke, it isn't recognise by the game.

Is there any way out of this or am I just stuck with it?
