Unable to get upgrades from Glyph

In my second character I press on upgrades and nothing happens,using open function just goes back to the top of the list. Is there any walkaround or should I just give up and hope that on second playghtrough it works. And that my first Male Shep doesn't get infected by whatever decease Fem Shep got from Garrus. Don't think Tali would be happy too.

Especialy considering that I'm quite sure that there won't be any updates to the game.
