Unable to Join Multiplayer (PC User)

I haven't played multiplayer for the past 2-3 weeks, but before that everything was fine.

However, for the past 3-4 days everytime I attempt to connect to the EA servers at the title screen, the tab at the lower-right of the screen then tells me to Redeem/Purchase Online Pass, and I haven't been able to play MP as a result.

I'm not sure what the problem is, I've exited and restarted Origin multiple times and nothing seems to help. I'm not sure if it has something to do with the Mass Effect 3 Datapad app that I'm using on my iPad Mini, I've also been having issues with that for the past few days as I'm unable to access the galactic map to increase my readiness.

I tried contacting EA Help about it, but the advisor I spoke to on livechat couldn't seem to understand my issue and asked me to refer to a link about known crashes, which doesn't have anything to do with my problem. He then said he'd refer my case to a team of specialists, but it's been more than 24 hours now and nothing's been done. ☹️

Another thing I should mention, ever since this problem cropped up I've been unable to post on any of the ME3 boards in the BSN forums apart from the general Multiplayer Discussion board. I was hoping I've be able to post on the PC Techical Support board, but somehow I'm unable to do so. ;_;

  • i had the same problem until a few days ago, I had to make an update for Origin, and then, when I started Mass Effect 3 I could play multiplayer and use DLCs 🙂

    You got hold of one of the Muppet types that pervade all Help Centers.  If your symptoms do not match anything in the scripts that they want to follow, they are useless. 

    You must try again.  PC gamers do not need online passes.  That's an Origins problem that must be fixed at the Origins end.  There is nothing any of us in here can do to sort this out for you. 

    The PC Tech forum that was active on the Social site has been locked.  This one replaced it.  The other forums there should work for you, however.
