Unable to launch Mass Effect 2
So I tried to start Mass Effect 2 again after 3 years, this time after finishing Mass Effect 1, but the game doesn't even start and it takes me back to Origin. I tried with the file names MassEffect2...

OK, your "Documents\BioWare\Mass Effect 2\Save" folder is still empty, right?
- Repair the game again.
- Then preform a clean boot and test the Game in clean boot mode. Disable your virus scanner (You can do it in offline mode) and Afterburner if you use it as well.
@holger1405 I check "Documents\BioWare\Mass Effect 2\Save" and if was still empty. I did a clean boot but unfortunately ME2 still didn't work. My antivirus is Microsoft Defender so I hardly saw the point of turning it off but despite turning it off during clean boot it did not work and I don't have Afterburner.
OK, I doubt that this is a game issue, but we need to be sure.

Create a new Windows user account (Administrator).
(Don't use local special characters, use only characters from the ASCII table.) - Reboot > Log in to the new account > test.
If this also don't works follow this manual to the letter to cleanly uninstall all NVIDIA components.
- Install the graphics driver.
- Reboot.
- Test.

- @holger1405 After changing the administrative user account continue the same result. At the moment, I will be buying a new graphics card soon, so I will wait to reinstall NVIDIA components
