Unable to launch Mass Effect 2

So I tried to start Mass Effect 2 again after 3 years, this time after finishing Mass Effect 1, but the game doesn't even start and it takes me back to Origin. I tried with the file names MassEffect2.exe on MassEffect2Launcher.exe and ME2Game.exe on MassEffect2.exe but it did not have any effect and Origin downloaded these files again. I do perfmon /rel and there was a log for ME2Game.exe also i do the DxDiag check.

@HarryKoxter i tried everything suggested by both comments and origin support and nothing worked. I did fix it myself though by opening masseffect2.config, changing the resolution to 1080p (my native is 1440p), saving and then launching the game. Changed the resolution back to 1440p in game settings and the game has launched fine every time since. Hope this helps!
