Unable to pick up campaign weapon mods.

I have played ME3 3 times before christmas last year and stopped everytime cause the game would not register i have picked up an upgrade to a mod or weapon during a mission. this has happen in different points throughout the game, which have ultimately soured my taste for the the game and have been unable to even finish it. Secondly, i recently started back up after the release of the new DLC in hopes things have been patched. I make it to Grissom academy and the second mod in the level, a SMG heat sink upgrade on the table after you see the first biotic student, doesnt register i pick it up again. granted i have reported this issue before i have recieved no feedback from the company as to what the intend to do to fix it. Am i the onlyone experiencing this issue?
