Wow, it is really upsetting that this hasn't been fixed. I only just discovered this bug a couple days ago after I had paid for and installed the dlc... I don't want to uninstall my dlc so I'm just going to play through using my one and only pistol. (good thing I play adept lol) But this really puts a hamper on the game's experience....what's the point of gathering upgrades and weapon customization if that's not even an option for paying customers.
Really disappointing...
...Something has to be done! But it's been 3 years....awful. ...annoying...but I still love this game and I guess the developers know that too.
For the PS3 for the solution is to NOT DOWNLOAD the patches, you can download all of the dlcs SP. It seems any patch later than 1.05 seems to create such a bug.
not being able to use DLC's that we've paid for is not a solution.. EA/Bioware needs to at least let us know they are looking into it.. this issue has been reported by many for years now, and they still haven't even bothered to come here and tell us they are aware. the fact that they won't refund you for the broken DLCs is just an absolute disrespect to their customers.
