Why can't I purchase BioWare points from Origin?

I've been trying to purchase BW points from the store so I can exchange them for a DLC but I keep getting an NU2001 error. I've contacted customer support but they only gave me canned responses. My credit card is fine, I even tried paypal with a different card but it still won't let me buy anything. As far as I know I have not been charged for the purchase attempts (oh dear, I hope not!) but this is frustrating since there has been no help anywhere regarding this issue.

I tried purchasing through the "Add BioWare Points" option on BSN. I've also tried purchasing using the Origin store on multiple browsers. Between those attempts, I also tried using the Origin client but I've yet to have any success. Has anybody else been experiencing this problem recently? Or is this an isolated case?

I'm having the same issue. It's getting very frustrating. This issue has been plaguing me for almost two weeks now, without a single word from the "Experts" that the issue was escalated to. I've tried adding notes to my case, and they go unanswered. I've had no issues with EA up to this point, and it is really leaving a bad taste in my mouth.

Try to buy directly the dlc from the game and it may work. I had no problem whit it.
