Why do PC users not get a regional rollout for game releases?

Can we get an official answer from EA as to why the PC release of Mass Effect Legendary Edition is a global rollout, instead of regional as it is on console? They can't use the "well, you can fake yo...

@admiral0912 Come on, it EA. Not like they have ever cared about any consumer that has ever played on of their games. Especially PC consumers. All they care about is the money.
