Why do you break the lore of mass effect universe?

I dunno if it's lore breaking with the god parent thing and people can call themselves what they want in a new galaxy especially I would think.

However, what is the point of this npc? Why even have her at all? I just don't know why they would do a thing like this other than to just cause these types of discussions on forums 😉
