Why does ME LE not play in Dolby Vision on Xbox Series X with Auto HDR?

My Xbox Series X plays most Xbox One games in Dolby Vision when I enable Auto HDR.  Bioshock Remaster and Xcom 2 are a couple of examples.  However, Mass Effect Legendary Edition will not play in Dolby Vision, with or without Auto HDR.  I see that it is outputting as HDR10, but not Dolby Vision.  Is this some kind of bug or is there a technical reason it will not work.

This is all with ME 1.  Haven't tried the other two.

  • @Saturnine3333Well for one you probably do not have the proper HDMI cable. https://www.bestbuy.com/site/searchpage.jsp?id=pcat17071&st=belkin+2.1+hdmi+cable

You will probably need to upgrade your HDMI cable to something like this. Also if you bought the console used sometimes the person before you keeps the crucial component s that originally came with it brand new and sometimes the controllers too which is a tad bit annoying. But I am trying to save money anyway I can and just purchased a Series X used in great condition and have to buy the cable and have not set up my console yet and will do so later.
