Wrex is always alive in my imports

Im very annoyed, for some reason every import I use Urdnot Wrex is still alive even though I killed him in ME1 (His name is on the Normandy wall of the dead too)

any idea why hes always alive? Ive tried using save editors but everytime, no matter what, freaking wrex is alive... I want to play with Wrex as leader but the game seems convinced he always lives...

help?
