You cant Sprint in Mass Effect 2, help

Every time i sprint in ME2 the game crashes and i have to restart my whole computer becuase the game takes up the screen and refuses to switch tabs just makes it so you have to restart it is very annoying. it almost feels like the game doesn't have enough allocated memory because i have a 1080ti 10gb of Vram, 32gb of Ram, I7 processor and its liquid cooled but a game from 13 years ago cant be run properly. i would like this fixed please
