That is the dumbest discussion I have ever read (or close to it)...
From my point of view I would be honored if my kid were to wear my combat badges to honor my achievements even if my kid was not the ones who achieved it, how do people know it is not also the case here with Ryder, maybe Ryder wears the armor in honor of his/her father who literally gave his life for you, in medieval times it was tradition to hand down one's armor and weapons to the one who would carry your name forward and it was considered an honor and a sign of respect to wear it :eahigh_file:
