MySims not opening

My game opens to a black screen and then instantly goes to white and then windows says the app isn't responding. I've repaired it and cleared my cache and it still doesn't work

    Hey all, 

    We were able to replicate this issue and resolve it by disabling the EA app in-game overlay via
    EA app -> Settings -> Applications -> In-Game Overlay

    Please let me know if that resolves the issue for you as well.

Thanks so much! If you can recall, does the game screen go white after you click, or will it happen if you let the game start without touching the mouse and keyboard at all?

Bonus points if you can get me a video I can share with the team :)

Yes it goes white after I click! If I don't click, the game just doesn't pop up or the screen stays black. Unfortunately updating my drivers didn't work to fix it. Here's a video https://youtu.be/pzF2SlfjRZg

    ugwnicole Side note, have you tried disabling the Nvidia Overlay to see if that helps?

      No problem 😊. The Nvidia overlay been disabled the entire time ☹️
