You guys added 44 songs for the game but a lot of them are locked for certain types of events and places.
Ones for Racing,other for drifting... ITS STUPID!
Why do you add so much songs into the game when most of them are locked?
I hated that in the reboot because that made the soundtrack too repetitive.Every 5 minutes i listen to Stormtrooper! 😞
Please unlock the songs and make players decide what and when to listen to when driving.
@XGCSith You're so close-minded dude. Not most of mainstream music sucks, so it is a mentality issue, yours to be precise. You don't have to be edgy and hate everything to be cool, I come from what most would call an underground music scene but I do appreciate good music wherever it comes. We all have tastes that come from a subjective standpoint, I personally love Rap but I'm not gonna say Rock sucks or any other genre that doesn't fit my style. You just turned a very reasonable thread into your own personal war.
@XGCSith Okay man, turning specific music off is a thing on which I agree. Just don't go and criticize certain types of music because no one really cares and it's off topic, plus everyone has different tastes here no need to offend anyone saying theirs is garbage, those are just things of a personal taste.
P.S. I don't know what it should be considered mainstream music nowadays but to put an example people might say ASAP Ferg or similar is because rap is mainstream? House, Rap and Dubstep to name a few should be considered mainstream? A term so ambiguous that makes no sense to use it at all.
P.S. 2 - I really like the fact that they added a lot of relatively unknown music to most people, giving the chance to many young artists out there like they did with NFS 2015 to Aero Chord and company, big ups to EA for doing that.

I, for one, welcome this change, as you don't want a really calm track to be played while you're racing, dodging traffic and taking tight corners at racing speeds.
Maybe some tracks can play in multiple situations (For example, one or two could play during both races and drift events) but for the most part, I would leave most tracks tied to individual situations, as it helps set the mood much better than if all the tracks were playing all the time.
