I'm having the same issue here, I was playing ok for the last 2 weeks, but then I started losing too much in game and had enough of it, so I decided to reset the saved game. Then I realized it has this weird bug that R2 wasn't working on full throttle. After I got the new save, R2 is completely useless on this game and now I've changed in accessibility to R1 temporarily. Hope EA fix this ASAP.

not enough accelleration to redline, takes forever to accellerate.
Use of keyboard as controller works fine... but I want to use my controller.
I got same issue and I found solution I buy new PS4 controller and it’s working very well.
