Achievements still there, cars gone...

Bought NFS: Most Wanted (2012) about a week ago, spent a good deal of time driving around finding cars and jack spots before finally starting the races. I made it all the way up to #1 on most wanted, and had defeated and unlocked all the cars up to #3 (the Bugati). I start the game today and it says I have completed 0 most wanted races but I still have the achievements for them. My wife plays also, and it looks an awful lot like her car list and jack spots on my map. Is there any way I can get my progress back?
