aftermarket front bumper/aftermarket front splitter

I have a splitter kn my car that is compatible with the stock bumper. I try to change the bumper but it says I need to buy a specific splitter. I buy the splitter but can't equip it until I change the bumper. I can't equip the aftermarket front bumper until I change the splitter. What do I do?

    If you are playing on PS4, press the Triangle button to revert custom parts (a.k.a remove cutoms parts) then select "Revert Parts?(Excluding Wheels)". I think the button for it is Y, never played on XB1 sorry.
