Lost all progress in Need For Speed Heat, what do I do?

Needless to say im pretty tired of this company.

On the EA app it says I have 0 hours played. no achievements, nothing, wiped clean. On Steam, it says CORRECTLY that I have 22 hours played, with achievements unlocked. This same Steam account is linked to the EA account. Wheneever I launch the game from Steam or the EA app, everything is gone, just reset, and it created a brand new save file, and It seems like my old one just disappared. 

Is there any way to recover my data? Maybe it was because of EA aquiring Origin? I would appreciate any kind of help.
