ALL PC AUDIO CUTS OUT WHEN STARTING NFS HEAT!

I have been trying to get sound to work on NFS Heat all day. I load up the game I can hear everything fine until I press x to start the game. All audio cuts out even audio from external apps like Chrome, Discord etc. I have tried updating all drivers and installing all windows updates for windows 10. I have also tried configuring speakers, running as administrator, disabling full screen optimisations & also closing all applications before hand so that no other program is running in the background while the game is running. Its like somethings blocking my audio when I start the game. As soon as I close the game all audio comes back and I can hear everything again. I don't have this issue with any other game only NFS Heat, I have even tried an old NFS (Hot Pursuit) and everything worked fine I could hear everything as normal. I even uninstalled the game & reinstalled the game and still the same thing. If anyone has a fix would be greatly appreciated! I got the game from Steam. I thought it might of been because I run my sound through "Elgato Sound Capture" but this wasn't the case as after disabling it and closing it completely I was still having the same issue.
