There is a possible bug in the game but I'm not sure if it is a bug. The car will Auto-Steer sometimes away from walls and just at random times. Other times the car becomes unresponsive towards steering. This happens with more cars than others, but one that does it a LOT is the RX-7. Is the auto-steering a bug or something you guys put in the game without an option to turn it off? Because I would love to turn it off right now.
Regarding the unresponsive steering, try adjusting the 'Steering Response' slider, and see if that helps.
If not, try using the Master Slider at the top, and it will reset all the handling tuning to defaults again. Could fix some issues you're having. Then slowly adjust from there if you wish.
I have tried that and everything. It did this at launch too.
Well I'm glad I am not the only one who has come across this. The only car that I have had this problem with is the 1971 Nissan GT-R though. It has turned one way or the other a few times on me,once into a wall. It has also not responded at all when trying to maneuver around cars at the start of a race. That's only happened once though. Don't know if these things happened with anyone else with this car,and don't know if Ghost has remedied it. But if not I hope this gets passed on to them.

My e30 is a driver killer as well, usually after a drift, I align the car and out of nowhere it points straight to the wall and stops responding to the countersteer, its a very brief moment, but a very annoying one too
I´m really happy with the game and its progress but this issue is really a pain in the *. Would be nice to get an answer from the team or community manager what´s up with this... I hope Ghost Games knows this problem and it will be fixed at some point 🙂
